The full release of LeafAnalyser is now available from the downloads section at sourceforge. The latest version is available as an installer for Windows or a source archive.
The source code is available from the subversion repository and is released under the GNU General Public Licence.
The forums have been moved to sourceforge and there is now a hosted trac project for managing the development of LeafAnalyser. By registering with sourceforge you should be able to gain access to both the forum and trac site. Please submit bug reports and feature requests using the trac ticketing system and not the forum.
LeafAnalyser has been developed as a fast throughput leaf shape analysis application. It contains the following features:
Although this application has been specifically developed for analysing leaf shapes, it can be used to process anything that is reasonably two-dimensional, has a clear outline and can be scanned. There also needs to be a reliable point of reference (as in the leaf tip) at which the landmarks can begin.
